Tin Drum Pictures is a creative collective made up of award winning filmmakers. We have come together because we share a similar set of values, openness and approach to creativity. Each of us has our own area of expertise in scriptwriting and documentary, drama and commercials directing. Together, we have combined our storytelling skills to create compelling long and short formats for drama, documentaries, animation, branded content and commercials for online and television.
Edurne Bargueño is a documentary filmmaker and director/producer. She is currently developing her first feature hybrid documentary BEATING A PATH, about transforming anger through dance and performance. Her passion is to explore the boundaries between fiction and non-fiction.
Edurne has worked as a director/producer for various production companies, NGOs and publications including Monocle magazine, The Independent, Evening Standard and The Telegraph covering topics across the world from news stories to cultural documentaries. She has broad experience creating branded content for clients like O2, HP, SEAT, AMEX and more. She recently co- wrote and co-directed a branded film TIME IS FOREVER - an off-kilter comedy capturing the essence, quality and timelessness of clothing company, Jigsaw.
Joasia Goldyn is an award-winning director and graduate of National Film and Television School. Joasia recently co-wrote and co-directed branded film, TIME IS FOREVER for Jigsaw. She is currently writing and directing an original one hour sci fi / thriller / love story, PROXIMITY for Sky Atlantic, Wellcome Trust and NFTS.
Joasia has creatively assisted directors such as Otto Bathurst on Lionsgate’s HOOD and Sarah Gavron on Pathe / Film Four / BFI SUFFRAGETTE. She has written and directed numerous short films, including COCOONS that was nominated for RTS student award, in competition at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2014 and won the award for Most Original Film at the 33rd Munich International Festival of Film Schools.
Sarah Woolner is a BAFTA award winning writer. She is currently writing a one hour original sci fi / thriller / love story, PROXIMITY for Sky Atlantic, Wellcome Trust and NFTS. She has written several award-winning shorts, including SLEEPING WITH THE FISHES, which won a BAFTA, and THE EVENING HER MIND JUMPED OUT OF HER HEAD, which won the Encounters Award for Best Animated Short Film. She also co-wrote critically lauded short MORNING, which was nominated by the European Film Academy and won an IFTA, and COCOONS, which was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award and won the Wolfgang Längsfeld Award for the Most Original Film.
Sarah has written commercial scripts, branded content and editorial for clients including The Telegraph, Stylist Magazine, Unilever, HSBC, Singapore Airlines, Airbus and Mew Lab. She is the recipient of a prestigious MacDowell Fellowship in the United States, and she is a Visiting Lecturer on the MA Animation course at University of the Arts London.
